This is a great activity for a math center as well as for fine motor development. I made turkeys without feathers and numbered them from 0-30. I set the turkeys out on a table along with a basket of colored clothespins.
Children put the correct number of clothespins on each turkey and when they finished they removed the clothespins and put them back in the basket. To make the turkeys strong enough to hold the clothespins I printed them on cardstock paper and laminated them.
