I made a tooth fairy letter matching activity this week. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out and laminated them for durability.
I separated the tooth fairy cards from the teeth cards and set them out on the table. You can put as few or as many of the letters out as you wish. For younger children just starting out with letter recognition I usually start with 8-10 letters at a time.
In this activity children pick a tooth fairy card and then find the tooth card with the matching letter and place it on top of the tooth fairy. The cards can be clipped together with clothespins or large plastic paper clips. For a self-checking activity children can clip the tooth card face up on the back of the tooth fairy card.
