I made some spring fine motor mats that can be used in a variety of ways. All of the patterns come in black and white as well as color and can be printed on cardstock or regular paper depending on the type of activity you do with them.
We us buttons ... pom poms ... and playdough to cover the blank circles up on the mats. The children then remove the items to empty that mat. For this activity I print the patterns on cardstock paper and laminate them for durability.
These mats can also be used for roll and cover activities. Children roll the dice and then cover the same number to blank circles on the mat that is on the dice. Once the mat is full they then roll the dice and remove the same number of cover ups. The black and white version of the mats can be used with dot markers.
