I made a spring bird shape match for recognition and visual discrimination skills. Print the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them and laminate them.
I separated the nests and the birds and set them out. The children picked a birds and then found the matching nest with the same shape. Play continued until all birds and nest had been matched.
As of 2022 this activity can be found in the member's section which is also where I have added a spring bird color match.
