I made a spring bird color sorting activity for color recognition and fine motor development. Print the patterns on cardstock paper and cut out and laminate. I have included color squares that you can print and laminate as well.
The color squares can be attached to the color board using velcro. There are twelve color cards with six places for the squares. You can cut off the bottom row of three if you only wanted to do a three square match.
If you did not want to use the matching color squares you could also use buttons ... or other objects that are the same colors as the cards. You can find the buttons that we use for different activities here.
