To celebrate the beginning of another school year I made School Letter Sliders for letter recognition and review. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out. I then laminated them for durability.
There are six different sets of letter strips included with the patterns. You have a choice of upper and lower case in order ... upper and lowercase out of order ... mixed upper and lower and non-mixed upper and lower.
In this activity children pull the letter strips through the school cards and identify the letters shown. You will need to slice (I recommend an xacto knife) along the lines on the front of the school cards in order for the letter strips to be inserted.
