I made a pumpkin color match for color recognition and fine motor skills. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and laminated them. I have included pumpkin cards with and without color names as well as pumpkin cards with matching name strips.
For the pumpkin cards with out names we placed objects were the same color on the pumpkins. We used buttons that I purchased from amazon but if you do not have matching objects I have also included color circles that can be printed out and laminated.
The pumpkin cards with the color names work the same way as the ones without names. The cards can also be used for a match and clip activity. Print two copies of the cards and have children pick a card and then find the match card and clip them together.
For the pumpkin cards with a blank space and name strips the children put the matching names on the same color pumpkin. We used velcro to secure the pieces.
