I made polka dot numbers for number identification. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and laminated them.
I use these numbers for a match and clip activity by having the children find the numbers that are the same and then clip them together with a clothespin. I also use them for sequencing by having the children lay then out in numerical order and then place the matching number on top of the first set of numbers.
I made two sets of numbers 0-30 in twelve different colors so the children can either match the numbers with the same color or numbers with different colors.
I also glue the numbers on to craft sticks and use them as circle time props for number identification and review. As of 2022 this activity can be found in the member's section which is also where the polka dot letters are located.
