Playdough Color Match

I made a playdough color match to work on color recognition and fine motor skills. I cut strips of cardstock paper ... put them in a laminating pouch and sprinkled large gold glitter on the strips and then laminated them.

I set out the strips along with matching color playdough and the children rolled the playdough into balls and then put the playdough on the same color strips.

​I made twelve different color strips and put masking tape on the back of the so they would stay in place and not slide around. If you do not have colored cardstock paper you can also use construction paper.
