As of 2022 this activity can be found in the member's section which is also where I have added the pencil number puzzles.
I made pencil alphabet puzzles for letter recognition and review. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out. I then cut on the line in the center of each puzzle to make two halves and laminated all pieces.
I separated the eraser halves from the pencil tip halves and mixed up the letters in each pile. I made upper to upper ... lower to lower ... upper to lower case puzzles.
In this activity the children pick a pencil half and then find the other half with the same letter. Play continues until pencil halves have been matched.
