This week I made a mitten themed fine motor dots activity that was really great for fine motor skills as well as eye hand coordination. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out. I laminated the mittens that I was not going to be using glue or paint with.
I have included both color and black and white versions of the mittens. One of the things we use with fine motor dot activities is pony beads as they are the perfect size. Remember to use supervision for children three and under and those who are still in the stages of putting small items in their mouths.
We also use paint with the fine motor dots. Cotton buds or q-tips are great for dipping in the paint and then pressing on the blank dots on the mittens. Another way we use them is to glue sequins on.
