lego letter stacking patterns
You can see a video of this activity by clicking below:
I made a letter stacking fine motor activity using lego duplo blocks. I taped small letter squares to one of the sides of the square blocks. I also printed off larger letter squares on cardstock paper ... cut them out and laminated them.
In this activity children draw a letter card and find the duplo block that matches it. They then draw another cards and stack the matching block on the previous block and continue stacking the letter blocks until the have gone through all of the letter cards. Children can also do a letter sequence by stacking the blocks in alphabetical order.

What a nice idea! I am an O.T.So this is a nice bilateral motor (2hands)activity well as visual motor.I service a wide variety of students at different levels.Thank you for including the letters for the lego's this makes life much easier! Where do you get all the same size lego's for the upper/lower case alphabet? I have lego's but not enough to do both upper/lower case letters?
