I made a Holiday Tree Alphabet Cover activity for letter recognition fine motor development. The patterns can be printed on cardstock and laminated depending upon what you will be using for the cover-ups.
You can use a variety of items for the cover-ups such as playdough ... pom poms ... buttons ... stickers ... paint daubers ... or crayons. I have also included cover-up circles that you can print on cardstock paper and laminate. We attach self adhesive magnets to the back of the printed cover-ups and pom poms to add weight and prevents the pieces from sliding around too much.
I have included upper to upper ... lower to lower ... upper to lower ... and lower to upper case cover-up cards in both black and white as well as color. In this activity children pick a cover-up card and and cover the same letters that is on the tree.
