I made a holiday pattern match to work on visual discrimination skills and fine motor development. I printed two copies of the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out.
I then laminated them and set them out in a basket along with some clothespins. I made sure the patterns are mixed up so that the same patterns were not next to each other.
The children picked a circle and the found the circle with the matching pattern on it. They clipped the circles together with a clothespin. Play continued until all circles had been matched. You can find the holiday pattern match here.
