We are working on shapes and pre-writing so I made a ghost shape tracers that worked on both skills. There are eight different shapes included with this set:
circles
squares
ellipses
rectangles
triangles
stars
diamonds
hearts

I printed the patterns on regular paper and cut them out but you could also leave the pages whole if you did not want to cut. I set the tracers out with markers and the children traced the shapes.
Because our writers are beginners I used the thicker markers instead of the thinner ones to make controlling the marker a bit easier. If you would like the ghost shape tracing patterns you can download them here.
