We talked a lot about flowers and the different types and colors. I made a flower match activity for color recognition and fine motor development. Print patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out.
Laminate all pieces for durability. Using an xacto knife slice along the line at the top of each color pot. I have included pots with color names and without color names.
In this activity children pick a color pot and find the same color flower. They then insert the flower into the top of each pot where the opening has been sliced. Play continues until all flowers have been matched.
As of 2022 this activity can be found in the member's section which is also where I have added Flower Bead Lacing.
