I made a few fall themed tic-tac-toe games using materials that I purchased from the craft store. They were very quick and easy to make and the children love them.
I used fall colored felt and cut the pieces into squares. I also used round 1 1/2 inch flat wood circles ... leaf stickers ... paint ... and ribbon.
I measured and cut four pieces of ribbon and hot glued those on to the felt square make the nine divided sections. For a couple of the tic-tac-toe games I attached the leaf stickers on to the wood circles and for other games I painted the wood circles.

I made twelve game pieces total for each game so each player would have six pieces. The games were inexpensive to make with the most cost going to the wood circles and stickers.
The glitter leaf stickers came in a big bag with various size leaves and I compared the size of the leaves to the size of the wood circles to make sure they would fit.
