I made a fall pencil match activity for visual discrimination and fine motor skills. I printed two sets of the pencils on cardstock paper and cut them out and then laminated them.
There are twenty-seven different pencils for the children to match. In this activity children pick pencil and then find the matching pencil and clip them together. We use mini clothespins to clip our pencils together.
To make this activity self checking print out one set each of the pencils facing the opposite direction and have the children clip the pencils together back to back so the same patterns can be seen on both sides.
