Baby Animal Puzzles

The free membership printable this week is baby animal puzzles for fine motor and visual discrimination skills. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and cut along the lines to make three pieces for each puzzle.

I laminated all pieces and then set them out on a table. You can mix all the pieces up to make building the puzzles more difficult or you can keep the same animal puzzle pieces together.

In this activity children find the puzzle pieces from the same animal and put them together. You can also put self-adhesive magnets on the back of the pieces and use a metal cookie sheet to put the puzzles on. There are thirteen different animals.

The free membership printable this week is egg alphabet puzzles for letter recognition and review. Print the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them and cut along the solid line to make two halves. Laminate all pieces. I added sequins to mine before laminating for an extra sparkle.

I set the pieces out and children found the two halves with the matching letters and put them together. I have included both uppercase and lowercase letters.

The free membership printable this week is popsicle number puzzles for for number recognition and math skills. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out. I then laminated them and and cut along the line to make two halves.

In this activity children find two puzzle halves with the same numbers and put them together to form a whole popsicle. You can do a number to number match or a number to number dot match.

The free membership printable this week is hot chocolate puzzles for color recognition and visual discrimination. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and laminated them.

I then cut along the lines on each puzzle card and mixed up the puzzles pieces. In this activity children find the matching colors or patterns and put the puzzle pieces together. I have included both two and three piece puzzles.

The free membership printable this week is Puppy Number Recognition Puzzles for number recognition and fine motor development. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... laminated them and cut along the lines.

I mixed up the puzzle strips and set them out. Children put them in numerical order. I made numbers 1-10 ... 11-20 ... and 21-30 puzzles.

The free membership printable this week is five pieces shape puzzles for shape recognition and fine motor development. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and then laminated them. I then cut along the lines so that their were five strips for each puzzle.

I mixed up the puzzle strips before setting them out. The children found put the puzzle strips together to form the shapes. The puzzles come with both faces and no faces so you have a choice as to which to use.
