Tooth Fairy Roll and Cover
The free membership printable this week is Tooth Fairy Roll and Cover for math and fine motor skills development. Print the patterns on cardstock paper and laminate.
I have created a blank mat where children can roll the dice and count and cover the same number of black circles on the mat. I have also created mats with numbers 1-6 and numbers 2-12.
When using the numbered mats children roll the dice and cover up the match number on the mats. Play continues until all blank circles or all numbers have been covered on the mats.
You can grab the patterns below for free until Sunday February 28th ... after that date they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added Tooth Fairy Alphabet Pick and Cover.

The free membership printable this week is owl number slicers for number recognition and review as well as fine motor skills. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and laminated them.
Using and x-acto knife I sliced along the two lines on the owl. Taking one of the letter strips I pushed the left end up through the right slice of the helicopter and pulled it down through the left slice.
In this activity children pull the numbers strips through the owl and read the number that is displayed in the center of the owl. Once all numbers have been identified on the strip a new strip is put in.
You can grab the patterns below for free until Sunday November 15th ... after that date they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added owl letter sliders.

We love working with pumpkins seeds ... there are so many things your can do with them!! I set this activity up in our math center using two pumpkin bowls that I purchased from Target. You can use any kind of bowl or container that works for you. I put the pumpkin seeds in one of the bowls and set out a pair of jumbo tweezers along with dice.
The children rolled the dice and then used the tweezers to transfer the same number of pumpkin seeds into the empty bowl. They continued to roll the dice until all of the pumpkins seeds had been transferred. This activity can also be done without the tweezers and/or the dice.

The free membership printable this week is a turkey math mat for number recognition ... math skills ... and fine motor development. Print the patterns on cardstock paper and cut out. Laminate the number circles and glue the turkey on a sheet of construction paper (we used the larger sized paper). Laminate the turkey mat for durability.
In this activity children place a number circle on the blank circle on the turkey. They then place the same number of counters on the mat next to the turkey. Play continues until all numbers have been counted. We used buttons and math cubes but you can also use different kinds of counters as well.
You can grab the patterns below for free until Sunday November 24th ... after that date they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added a turkey shape match and clip activity.

I have made a set of pumpkin themed math mats for children to practice counting and number recognition. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and then laminated them.
We used pumpkin seeds as our counters but you can also use other items such as pom poms ... playdough balls ... and clothespins. This activity is also great for developing fine motor skills which if you are a follow of my blog you know I love to work on!!
The free membership printable this week is Bee Roll and Cover for math and fine motor skills. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and laminated them.
In this activity the children roll the dice and cover up the same number of blank circles on the bee mat. We used buttons but pom poms and playdough work well too. I have also made cover-up circles that you can print and laminate. Play continues until all circles have been covered. Children can then roll the dice and remove the cover-ups.
You can grab the patterns below for free until Sunday August 4th ... after that date they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added bee writing skills.
