butterfly ten frames
We are finishing up out butterfly theme this week and I made butterfly ten frames for our math center. The ten frames are from my upcoming Early Learning Ten Frames release which will be available for download soon!!
Ten frames are great for math and number recognition as well as fine motor development. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and then laminated them.
Children pick a card and put the correct number of counters on the frames. You can choose to set all of the numbers out or just a few. For younger children I recommend starting with numbers 1-5 or 1-10. The set comes with numbers 1-20. Click the link below to download.

omgosh. When I taught preschool for 30yrs, I made a lot of your games, and your ideas were terrific. I have since retired and no longer make the games and stuff. I have passed on most of my teaching things to my other teacher friends. I do miss viewing your ideas and games and making them. I'm glad to see you're still doing great things for children. Best wishes.
