Here are some butterfly color clip cards that are great for color recognition as well as fine motor development. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out ... and then laminated them.
I set the butterfly cards out along with some clothespins. There are twelve color cards so you want to make sure you have at least twelve clothespins for the children to use.
In this activity the children pick a butterfly card and clip a clothespin on the matching color. Play continues until all the butterfly cards have been clipped. As of 2022 this activity can be found in the member's section which is also where I have added three butterfly roll and cover mats.
