Here is a butterfly alphabet punch for letter recognition and fine motor development. You can print the patterns on either cardstock or regular paper.
I used a paper slicer to to cut the strips. I purchased mine at Michael's craft store but they can be purchased online as well. I made the patterns in both black and white and color so you would have a choice of what to print.
In this activity children use a hole punch to punch the dots on under the letters on each strip that match the letter on the butterflies. You can also use mini or regular clothespins as well as large plastic paper clips.

As of 2022 this activity can be found in the member's section which is also where I have added a butterfly number punch.
