spring birds number punch
The free membership printable this week is Spring Birds Number Punch for number recognition and fine motor development skills. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out.
I recommend printing on cardstock paper and laminating durability if you will be using these as clip cards. I have included both color as well as black and white patterns so you have a choice of which to use.
In this activity children pick a card and punch the dot under the number that matches the number on the bird. If you did not want to use a hole punch you could also clip the cards with clothespins or paper clips or even use buttons to cover up the dots.
You can grab the patterns below for free until Sunday April 4th ... after that date they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added spring birds alphabet punch cards.

The free membership printable this week is Egg Alphabet Match and Clip which is great for letter recognition and fine motor development skills. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and laminated them.
In this activity children find the eggs with the same letters and and clip them together with a clothespin or large plastic paper clip. Play continues until all eggs have been matched.
You can grab the patterns for free until Sunday March 28th ... after that they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added a space number match and clip.

We made tissue paper scrunch eggs for our fine motor project this week. I printed the pattern on cardstock and cut the egg out. I cut various colors of tissue paper into long strips and the children cut them into small squares.
The children applied glue drops to the egg and then scrunched up pieces of tissue paper and pressed them on to the egg.
This project is wonderful for fine motor development because the children have to separate the tissue paper squares ... scrunch them ... and then press them on to the glue drops. You can download the egg pattern for this project below:
