I made a shamrock and pot of gold tic-tac-toe game and the children loved it so I wanted to share it with you!! Just print the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut out and laminate. Children play in pairs and try to get three in a row either diagonally ... vertically or horizontally. You can download the patterns below:
The free membership printable this week is Leprechaun Alphabet Sequence Mats for letter recognition and review. I printed everything on cardstock paper. I cut out and laminated the letter squares and glued the Leprechaun mat to the back of the letter mat.
I made blank ... guided ... what letter comes after ... what letter comes before ... and missing letter mats. Both upper and lower case are included.
In this activity the children put the letter squares in alphabetical order. With younger children I start with the guided letter mats and then move on to the blank mat.
You can grab the patterns below for free until Sunday March 14th ... after that date they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added Leprechaun Number Sequence Mats.
Leprechaun Alphabet Sequence Mats
This is one of our favorite shamrock projects to make! I printed the shamrock pattern on cardstock paper and traced around it on a piece of green cardstock paper. After the shamrock was cut out the children applied glue drops and pressed sequins on the glue. For easier use of the glue I put glue into small cups and children dip a q-tip in and then dot the glue onto the shamrock.
