This week's free membership printable is Space Lacing Cards for fine motor development. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and then laminated them. I then punched holes where indicated on each lacing card.
There are four different sets of lacing cards. Rockets ... planets ... astronauts ... and stars that are both shaped and round.
I have also included lacing cards without hole punch guides so that the holes can be punched anywhere on the cards making the distance between the hole as close or as far apart as you want.
In this activity children lace the cards with with lacing cord or yarn by going up and down through the holes. I purchased my lacing yarn from amazon and chose it over regular yarn because of the capped ends which makes for easier lacing.
