I made a shamrock letter and number drop. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out. I glued one of the leprechaun card and title strip on a black paper bag that I purchased in the craft section at Walmart. I then laminated the shamrock cards.
Both the letter and number sets come with a recording sheet that the children can use to cover up the shamrocks that have already been placed in the bag after they have identified them.
In this activity children pick a shamrock card and say the letter or number on the card. They then cover up the same letter or number on the mat. We use buttons ... playdough ... and bingo daubers. The shamrock card is then placed into the leprechaun bag. You do not need to use the cover up sheet ... children would simply identify the letter or number on the shamrock card and drop the card in the bag.
