Dump Truck Color Sort

I made a dump truck color sort for color recognition and review. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and laminated them. There are twelve dump truck cards and six color squares for each card.

In this activity children put the colors squares on the mats with the same color dump trucks. Play continues until all of the colors have been sorted and matched. You can download the patterns below.

The free membership printable this week is Digger Roll and Cover for math and number recognition as well as fine motor skills. I printed the tracing sheets on cardstock paper and laminated them.

I set the mats out along with dice and playdough. You can also use pom poms or the included cover-up circles. I have included numbers 1-10 and 11-20 mats.

In this activity the children roll the dice and cover up the same number on the mat. Play continues until all numbers have been covered.

You can grab the patterns for free until Sunday July 16th ... after that they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added Digger Number Sequence Puzzles.

The free membership printable this week is a dump truck alphabet sequence activity which is great for letter recognition and review. I printed everything on cardstock paper. I then cut out and laminated the letter squares and glued the dump truck mat to the back of the letter mat.

I set the mat out along with the loose letter squares. I made a blank mat ... an uppercase mat ... and a lowercase mat. I also made upper case and lowercase letters.

In this activity the children put the letter squares in alphabetical order. With younger children I start with the guided letter mats and then move on to the blank mat.

You can grab the patterns for free until Sunday May 14th ... after that they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added the dump truck number sequence mats.
