You can grab the patterns for free until Sunday February 19 ... after that they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added the fish alphabet puzzles.
The free membership printable this week is fish number puzzles which is great for number recognition and review. I printed the patters on cardstock paper and cut the fish out. I then laminated them and cut along the line on each fish to make two halves.
I mixed up the numbers and made two piles ... one for the fish heads and one for the fix tails. I made the puzzles with numbers 0-30 so you can choose which numbers and how many you want to put out for your early learners.
In this activity the children find the fish halves with the same number and put them together. Play continues until all number have been matched.

I made a fish themed color match file folder game to help with color recognition. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and taped the two fish mats together and then laminated them. You can also glue the mats inside a file folder.
I laminated the color circles and attached self-adhesive magnets to the back of each circle. In this activity children pick a color circle and put it on the blanks circle of the fish with the matching color. Play continues until colors have been matched.
The free membership printable this week is a fishbowl uppercase and lowercase sorting activity. I printed all the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and attached the letter fish to craft sticks.
I attached the fishbowls to the front of clear plastic cups and set them out along with the letter fish. In this activity the children put the fish into the correct cups based on whether it was an uppercase or a lowercase letter.
The fishbowls can also be glued onto a sheet of construction or cardstock paper and the children would put the loose fish (not attached onto craft sticks) on the correct mats. I made this activity for our math center. I printed the pattern on cardstock paper ... cut it out and glue it on a sheet of blue cardstock paper. I also printed out the number circles ... laminated them and put a self-adhesive magnet on the back of each one. I put blue decorative stones that represented fish bubbles in a small dish (remember to use supervision for children under three and those still in the stages of putting small items in their mouths). The children would use the bubbles as counters this activity. The number circles are from 0 - 30 but I set out only ten number circles at a time for the children to work on. The children picked a number circle and and put it on the blank circle on the rainbow fish. They then put the same number of the bubble counters on the mat. Play continues by removing the number circle and bubble counters and choosing a new number circle to put on the fish. You can grab the patterns here and see a video by clicking below: The free daily printable this week is Rainbow Fish Letter Match which is a great activity for developing for letter recognition and review. I printed all pieces on cardstock paper ... cut them out and laminated them. In this activity children find the letter circle that matches the letter on the rainbow fish and place it on the blank circle.
