The free membership printable this week is penguin number sequence match for number recognition and review. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out. I also laminated them for durability.
I set the penguin number cards and number circles out along with craft sticks. I used velcro on the cards ... circles and craft sticks.
In this activity the children put the penguin number cards in numerical order and then put the matching number circles beneath the penguin cards. Play continued until all numbers were put and order and matched. You can also do this activity without matching and just have it be a straight sequencing activity.
You can grab the patterns below for free until Sunday February 16th ... after that date they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added penguin alphabet sequence match.

The free membership printable this week is heart match and clip for visual discrimination and fine motor development. I printed two copies the patterns on cardstock paper and cut them out. I then laminated them and put them in a basket with mini clothes pins that I found at michaels craft store.
I've included hearts with various patterns and solid colors for the children to match. In this activity children find the two hearts that are the same and clip them together. Play continues until all hearts have been matched.
You can grab the patterns below for free until Sunday 9th ... after that date they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added heart roll and cover.

We made tissue paper hearts which is a really great craft project for working on fine motor and scissor skills. You will need the heart pattern ... tissue paper ... scissors ... glue ... and sequins.
The first step is to print the pattern on cardstock paper and cut it out. Next cut or tear tissue paper into small squares. Apply glue drops to the inside of the heart and press on the tissue paper squares.
If some of the tissue paper hangs over the heart you can cut off the extra. The last part is to apply glue drops on the tissue paper and press on the sequins. You do not have to add sequins but they are wonderful for fine motor development and also add a nice sparkle to the hearts.
