You can grab the patterns for free until Sunday February 5th ... after that they will only be available in the member's section which is also where I have added a heart number sequence.
The free membership printable this week is a heart alphabet sequence that works on letter recognition and fine motor skills. I printed the hearts on cardstock paper ... cut them out and laminated them.
I set the hearts out along with a basket of clothes pins and the children hung them up on our classroom clothesline that I made by attaching the ends of the yarn on two hooks. You could also glue the hearts to craft sticks or use just the hearts by themselves.
In this activity children put the hearts in alphabetical order. You could also make a sequence match by printing two copies of each heart and having the children put the correct heart on top of the matching heart.

Only two more months left of cold temperatures and snow (at least where I live). January has flown by so quickly but it has really been a month of fun for us!! Here is February's number tracing calendar along with calendar numbers ... daily reports and other February items.
I also made heart themed days of the week and months of the year strips that can be used in pocket charts or in your calendar centers. We also do sequencing and matching with them. Just print ... cut ... and laminate.

The free membership printable this week is mitten match and clip which is great for color recognition and fine motor development. I printed the patterns on cardstock paper ... cut them out and laminated them.
I cut white yarn into six inch pieces and tied the ends to large white plastic coated paper clips. I set them out along with the mittens that I had mixed up. You can also just use paper clips without the yarn and even clothespins.
In this activity children find the two mittens that match and clip them together. I have included four different sets of color mittens so you have a variety to choose from.
